Lucky Loser transforms discarded textiles into bold, sustainable tennis apparel. Krista Virtanen Design created the collection in collaboration with Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto as part of a circular economy pilot project. We combine functional sportswear, contemporary design, and circular thinking to create garments that stand out both on and off the court.

We make every garment from reclaimed materials, including discarded polyester sportswear and sheer curtains. Instead of letting these textiles end up as waste or incineration, we redesign and reconstruct them into high-quality sportswear with a unique aesthetic. Every piece celebrates the character of existing materials while reducing textile waste.

Lucky Loser challenges the fast-fashion model in sportswear. We offer athletes, tennis enthusiasts, and conscious consumers a creative, ethical, and locally made alternative to mass-produced sportswear.

Our mission is to extend the life of sports textiles, reduce waste, and prove that circular design can create functional, durable, and visually distinctive clothing. Every garment carries its own history while supporting a more responsible future for fashion.

Lucky Loser also offers companies, organisations, and partners an opportunity to participate in an innovative circular sportswear concept. We tailor collaborations to support your sustainability goals and create meaningful projects together.

Let’s create meaningful things together.
