Lucky Loser upcyled tennis collection

Lucky Loser upcycled tennis collection. Coming on sale later this year. Inquiries to info@kristavirtanendesign.fi
Lucky Loser is a sustainable tennis collection made from discarded textiles. It was developed in collaboration with Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto as part of a pilot project. The collection combines functional sportswear with circular design principles.
All garments are made from recycled materials, including polyester sports fabrics and sheer curtains. Old sportswear in different colors and sizes has been reused in versatile ways.
Lucky Loser offers an alternative to textile waste and incineration, bringing together design, circular economy, and sports culture and adding color to the courts.
This collection gives new life to discarded sportswear fabrics and sheer curtains. Made entirely from textile waste, it tackles the problem of sports textiles that would otherwise be burned.
We want to offer athletes ethical, alternative, more creative, and locally made products alongside major sportswear brands.
