Krista Virtanen Design occasionally hosts pop-up sales, offering a rare opportunity to discover unique pieces, samples, and one-of-a-kind garments.

One example was the Krista Virtanen Design Sample Sale Pop-up, held at Pispala Gallery in October–November. The opening evening invited visitors to experience the brand’s world through fashion, music, and atmosphere, with DJ J-Dawg music and locally produced drinks by Temperance Brewing. The pop-up presented sample pieces and new designs available for the first time, highlighting the brand’s connection between wearable art, sustainability, and emotional longevity.

Krista Virtanen is a Finnish fashion and textile designer whose work emerges from an intimate dialogue between material and form. Each piece is a process of transformation — of form, meaning, and emotion. Sustainability, circularity, and the relationship between art and the human body are central to her design philosophy. Garments are created to be loved, repaired, and cherished over time, living both as wearable objects and as artworks in space. Thank you everyone who visited at the pop up store!
