This shirt is made in collaboration with the brand Pure Waste. It is also an artist collaboration with Katharina Schmidt. Fibers Of The Universe is an exhibition at Galleria Pirkko-Liisa Topelius where you can find Krista & Katharina´s works (9.5-28.5)
Shirt is screen printed with natural dyes from Natural Indigo Finland. Natural Indigo Finland produces natural dyes on an industrial scale. The contract farmers supply the woad, from which we produce Indigo colour with extraction technology. Colour can fade over the time.
The Pure Waste T-shirt is designed to last. It has a straight cut and a low hem. The rib around the neck opening is narrow. This unisex model is sold using men’s measurements.

Pure Waste is a Finnish company breaking new ground in recycled textiles. The shirt is made out of 100 % recycled fibres. 60% recycled cotton, 40% recycled polyester.
Shirt is screen printed with natural dyes from Natural Indigo Finland. Natural Indigo Finland produces natural dyes on an industrial scale. The contract farmers supply the woad, from which we produce Indigo colour with extraction technology.
WHAT ARE NATURAL DYES?
Natural, less environmentally harmful dyes, such as indigo, offer a good alternative to synthetic dyes. Natural dyes are dyes produced by nature itself.
